Jane and Harper joined forces for some amazing holiday inspired portraits. I had so much fun and we all worked really hard trying to get these girls to smile. I have photographed both of these girls since they were about 6 months and it amazes me how much they have grown! Plus I love all the girly stuff!!

On my trip to Michigan my "cousin" asked me if I would do some family photos for them... of course I said yes but never did I imagine that the photos would be so amazing and that I would fall in love with the kids all over again. This is my third time photographing Harper. This time it was for her first birthday. Harper has become the face of Little Star Studios and this day she took her modeling very seriously!! We worked sooo hard to get a smile out of her...her parents Jen and Jordan and I made crazy noises, danced and sang... but she barely broke. I was able to catch a few of those smiles. She's sooo gorgeous though she doesn't need to smile!

I met Jason and Christel at their home in Ditmas Park area of Brooklyn. They have a beautiful home and family and I was so happy to be a part of their day! The reception was at a favorite location of mine, Downtown Atlantic with the best cupcakes in NYC for sure! It was a lovely night and a good time was had by all.

I was so proud to have gotten all five cats in one shot!!!

I was invited into the home of Chris, Joy, Dashiell and Shane to get a much needed portrait of the entire family. I know how difficult this can be having two young boys myself. Dashiell and Shane were very cooperative for almost two hours which is more than I could have hoped for. We took some great shots and I had a really nice time! Thank you!

Peonies are my favorite so when I saw Melissa's bouquet I was so excited! The smell was amazing!!

The reception was at Sequoia at Pier 17 in the South Street Seaport. What a beautiful location and the food was great!!

Every table had a Brooklyn themed quote on it!

The ninjas made me giggle... the cake was made by Fran Sipple from Downtown Atlantic

All of the girls had their hair and make up done at Total Dimensions Salon in Milford, MI and they put this cute sign out front.

I have to say the best man speech was one of the longest speeches I have ever encountered at a wedding. He had 8 typed pages... though it was definitely entertaining and very touching.
